Advertising spots are usually displayed to the customer that didn’t ask for them. That’s why people hate popup videos and commercials. As a consequence portals are struggling to convince you to turn off the AdBlock. Also creative agencies are struggling to make commercials that are worth watching.

Images help us to understand the world. No matter the fact that it is a well-told story, a clear scheme or project – all of these features help us catch on complex ideas. Therefore, images remove the weight from our shoulders. We don’t need to read, think and translate to a ‘human language’ increasingly complex reality.
Watching a video helps us to reduce “informational stress” that occurs when we are not able to process all of the received information. Watching, for people, is also a very natural method of perceiving the world – sight prevails over hearing, smell or touch for a human being.
Of course, not all of the images are clear to us.
A city crowded with billboards brings visual chaos, which may irritate us. An example of good visual practice would be, on the other hand, a perfectly trimmed Japanese garden, which helps our eyes to relax.

The production of an explainer video consists of several stages:
- Gathering information (including the brief)
We talk to you and collect materials about your company, its communication strategy, values, etc. We determine the purpose of the animation, its style, music, and graphic symbols.
On the basis of information obtained from the client, we transform the company’s message into an engaging story. This form of the script allows us to capture and keep the viewers’ attention for longer. We send the script to the client and introduce any possible adjustments, as required.
- Storyboard (script description)
A storyboard is the “outline” of the video. It makes it possible to see how each scene in the video will look like, in advance.
- Storyboard approval
After approval of the storyboard, the client cannot make any adjustments, because our animations are created “live” and we shoot them on a real film set in our studio. Possible changes in later stages are associated with an increase in costs and extension of the deadline for video preparation.
- Preparing scenes and frames
We create computer animations or record scenes in our studio.
One minute of video usually involves several hours of intensive work, consisting of a selection of frames, cuts, special effects, accelerations, etc.
- Final touches
We will make the last adjustments in the animation if they don’t exceed the previously set script and storyboard.
Preparation of an explainer video takes 3-5 weeks. If it is required faster, we are able to prepare it but this involves a higher price for the animation.

The most important aspect in the production of animations are the first stages, i.e. collecting information from the client and gathering the most important pieces from the information.
We always start with a brief, a conversation with the client and an analysis of research.
On the basis of our analysis, we gather the key information and build history around it. This is also the moment to decide upon the form of animation with the client – it can be humorous, dramatic, reflective, etc.
If these stages are neglected, the animation may be pretty, but it may not meet the client’s goal and that is not what we want to achieve. An explainer video should primarily translate into the achievement of business goals.
