A storyboard is a working illustration of the scenes from the script. They aim is to help the client to imagine the final product and to give the illustrators in the studio guidelines about the essential elements of the explainer.

In the case of whiteboard animation, the illustrators shoot the video in the studio. Recording a 2-minute video usually takes 3-4 days of intensive work.
